How do I join?

Joining its so simple, just hit the signup button at the top of the page and follow the registration process. The orientation pages will take you through all the information you will need to start driving one of our cars. This process is mandatory before we can confirm your registration.

You can choose your own username and password. Enter your details and E-cocars.com will make a check with the DVLA and get back to you the next day.

You will then receive your smartcard to allow you to start using the cars. Logon

Booking

How do I make a booking?

Go to the E-cocars.com website, enter your personal login and password, choose your car and time. Simple as that!

You can also book or change a booking in 4 different ways:

1. On your PC or MAC, login and use the reservation system to book, return early or extend.
2. In the car use your smartcard that lets you into the car. Just get in, book on the on board computer and drive away.
3. On your iPhone / iPod Touch (optimised for iPhone Screen), Blackberry or Web Enabled smart phone.
4. Call us and we will charge you a small admin fee (£1.50) and do it for you.

How long before my trip do I have to book?

You can book weeks or months before you wish to collect a car.

How and when do I cancel a booking?

Login and cancel from the E-cocars.com website or call or email our call centre. There is no charge if you cancel 3 hours before the start of your booking.

How do I get into the car? Do I need keys?

Cars are easily accessed with your smartcard. You simply place it over the card reader on the windscreen and the car doors will open. If you do not have a booking it takes a short while to "call home". You can then make a booking reservation with the on-board computer if there is no other booking already made. When this accepted you simply OK on the computer to release the engine immobilizer. Take the keys from the designated key storage and drive off. It couldn't be simpler.
